Tamila C. Jensen
Ms. Jensen is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and earned her law degree from the University of California at Davis School of Law. She recently earned an LLM in Transnational Commercial Practice, Lazerski University, Poland. Ms. Jensen has an active practice in Los Angeles where she represents private professional fiduciaries and lay people in the Probate Courts. The focus of her practice is elder law and real property. She currently is serving as president of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Ms. Jensen has taught widely including at Indiana University School of Business, and seminars at the School of Law, Debrechen, Hungary, and at the European School of Law and Economics, Pristina, Kosovo. Ms.
Jensen participates in several volunteer activities including the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) international moot court arbitration competition. Ms. Jensen is on the board of directors of Neighborhood Legal Services Los Angeles. She is a certified mediator and participates as a settlement officer in volunteer mediation and arbitration programs through LACBA. She has authored many articles including the recent “Scalia’s Lasting Legacy: Debating the Constitution -
The Living Constitution,” Valley Lawyer, May 2016.
Ms. Jensen was named Los Angeles Super Lawyer from 2011-2021 and was selected as Diamond Member into The Top Attorneys of North America 2020-2021 in the area of elder law as published in Los Angeles Magazine

Roberta M. Soto, Attorney
Associate, Roberta M. Soto, has been practicing law since 1989. She is a graduate of University of California at Los Angeles and earned her law degree from the Gould School of Law at the University of Southern California. She has worked with the Law Offices of Tamila C. Jensen since 2013. She is a vital part of our team and meticulously cares for our clients.
Carol Hare, Paralegal
Law can be intimidating. As our paralegal and office manager, Carol will work directly with you to make sure you get the services you need. Carol is a highly qualified paralegal who has been working under Tamila Jensen for over 25 years. Carol is also an active member of the Los Angeles Paralegal Association.
Jamie Rizo, Legal Secretary
Legal secretary Jamie has over 15 years experience working in the legal field including nonprofits and legal aid. She graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with her B.A in general studies with a concentration in Political Science. She assists our attorneys with deadlines to keep everything on track. She has a keen eye for detail and is sure to put you at ease while working with the rest of team to help you accomplish your goal
